Döhle Yachts are happy to be members of the standing committee tasked by the Red Ensign Group (REG) with advising on the re-writing of both the Large Yacht Code and the Passenger Yacht Code.
Richie Blake, our Technical Director, who has been involved throughout commented “I am pleased that the Industry Stakeholder Engagement Exercise is now live on the REG website. The Committee conducted its work in an open and positive way”.
The draft new Codes, Part A Large Yachts and Part B Passenger Yachts, can be found at Red Ensign Group/Consultations where you will also find further information along with the common annexes. A basic change table is also provided for your information as well as a feedback form, which can be used when providing comment. It is hoped that the final documents can be prepared in time for release at the Global Superyacht Forum on 13th November.
