Levanto Crew | Meet the Team

Levanto’s head office is based in Guernsey, Channel Islands and our highly skilled team have over 80 years combined industry experience in providing all aspects of crew employment, payroll, management and support to captains, owners and managers.

Jackie joined Levanto’s Guernsey team in September 2015 as Director and was instrumental in its set-up. Jackie has over 20 years’ experience within the superyacht industry and, as a result, extensive knowledge of all aspects of superyacht management and operation, including crew employment and payroll.

In 2012, Jackie successfully attained the World Maritime University’s Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Insurance.

In her spare time Jackie is a keen baker and cake-maker, making her popular in the office on baking days, often being referred to as Levanto’s very own Mary Berry!

Jackie Houchard

Managing Director

Laura joined the company’s Guernsey-based employment and payroll team in January 2016. Now, with over 15 years of industry experience, she manages the crew employment and payroll operations. Laura is committed to ensuring that both crew and clients receive an exceptional level of service.

In 2015, Laura successfully completed the Superyacht Operations Diploma. She furthered her education by completing the GUEST Purser Program in 2020 and the Level 5 Advanced Certificate in International Finance & Administration in 2021.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys long walks and spending time on the island’s beautiful beaches with her young daughter. In her spare time, Laura is also a keen hockey player.

Laura Webber

Business Development & Crewing Manager

Helene joined Levanto in April 2022 as a Crewing and Office Administrator, and was promoted to Assistant Crewing Manager in July 2023.

Helene has previously worked within the yachting industry and has over 20 years of office and administration experience.

In her spare time, Helene enjoys travelling, baking and getting involved with various sports.

Laura joined Levanto’s Guernsey team in July 2021 as Senior Crewing Officer having previously worked in a similar role bringing her knowledge of all aspects of crew employment and payroll. Laura previously worked in the Trust industry for 10 years and holds the STEP International Diploma.

In July 2021, Laura successfully completed the CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate, demonstrating her capabilities in calculating all types of crew pay elements.

In her spare time, Laura likes to go for long walks with her Cocker Spaniel Ronnie on the nice Guernsey sandy beaches.

Senior Crewing Officer

Kim joined the Levanto Team in October 2023. Kim has almost a lifetime of experience within the superyacht industry. She manages all aspects of crew employment, and crew payroll, and is responsible for ensuring clients, captains, and crew members all receive the same high level of service.

Kim enjoys spending her time with family and friends. Kim can also be found planning, crafting and up-cycling items to use at her annual fancy-dress party, which has themes that have included Alice in Wonderland, Under the Sea, Steampunk, and Arabian Nights.

Kim Hamilton

Assistant Crewing Manager

Talia joined Levanto’s Guernsey Team in September 2022 as a Trainee Crewing Administrator after completing 3 A Levels at the Guernsey Grammar and Sixth Form Centre. Talia is now focusing on learning all aspects of crew employment and assisting with monthly crew payroll administration.

Talia is a keen baker and successfully won the office bake off competition. In her spare time Talia can be found walking her dogs around the picturesque scenery of Guernsey.

Junior Crewing Administrator

Ziedite joined Levanto Guernsey team in September 2023 as a Crewing Administrator, having previously worked in Administration role and now learning about crew employment and assisting with crew payroll administration.

In her spare time, she likes to explore Guernsey through the camera lens, play guitar, and meet up with friends.

Amy joined Levanto in September 2023 as a Crewing Administrator, having worked in administration since leaving school. Amy is now looking forward to learning more about the industry and improving her payroll knowledge.

In her spare time, Amy likes spending time with family and friends, and doing arts and crafts.

Amy Ryan

Crewing Administrator

Kat joined the Guernsey team in October 2023 as a Payroll and Office Administrator. She is responsible for processing crew salary payments, maintaining payroll records, and providing support to the rest of the crewing team.

Prior to joining the Guernsey team, Kat worked in the Recruitment and Legal sectors. There, she gained vital experience in Payroll, as well as Administration and Accounts. Kat has completed the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 2 Qualification.

Outside the office, Kat enjoys soaking up the sunshine on holidays and in Guernsey. She loves spending time with family and friends and is a keen boxing enthusiast and a tremendous fan of Peter Kay! Kat and her rescue dog, Rosie, volunteer some of their free time at Paws for Support. Rosie, an English Bull Terrier, has a claim to fame as ‘Bullseye’ in a local production of Oliver! Kat dreams of one day going on a tour to see Polar Bears.

Payroll & Office Administrator

Chloe joined the Levanto team in January 2023 as a Trainee Crewing Administrator. Chloe has completed 3 A-Levels at the Guernsey Grammar and Sixth Form Centre prior to joining Levanto.

In her spare time she likes to bake, spend time with her family, and take her two Spaniels out for walks around Guernsey
